BergStyle. Garden design inspired by Pückler

Peter Berg addresses the question of how gardens today can be designed to be varied, user-oriented and close to nature. In the tradition of the garden visionary Count Pückler (1785-1871), creator of the world-famous parks in Muskau and Branitz, Berg shows how architecture, landscape and garden can visually unite to form a sustainable and forward-looking whole.

Pückler’s design principles are brought to life on the basis of 10 contemporary gardens by Peter Berg. Impressive close-ups, photographed by Ferdinand Graf Luckner, show the “BergStyle” – Peter Berg’s garden design philosophy – in all its uniqueness. The many possible applications of Pückler’s approach are made tangible and invite garden enthusiasts to indulge and create their own designs.
