Making a small garden bigger

  • “Small but beautiful” is a well-known saying, yet many people struggle with the small size of their garden. They fail to appreciate that a small garden has its distinct advantages, not least in terms of maintenance and costs. In this book, author Tanja Minardo, an experienced garden and landscape architect, uses clear examples to show how you can use a wide variety of design techniques to give the illusion of size in a small garden.
  • On the cover of the book is Peter Berg’s project from the 2014 Regional Garden Show (Landesgartenschau) in Zülpich. It was a collaboration with two other garden designers and called ‘Three Gardens – Three Natural Stones – Three Designers’.
