Designing a landscape garden for us always means taking into account a range of aspects. As such, it depends on which purpose the garden should fulfil, how the architecture is created and also how the environment is. If the property is located on a slope it becomes particularly complex. With a private garden, users focus on other things than with a corporate garden. Sometimes the focus is purely on the element of water, or else the philosophy of a Japanese garden should be recognisable. For us the basis of every garden design is aesthetic design combined with natural materials.
Private gardens are an extension of the living area from the inside to the outside. A place of refuge and retreat surrounded by green where you can find peace from the hustle and bustle of daily routines, spend time with family and friends and enjoy life in the open air. The size of the area hardly plays a role in creating a feel-good place that brings nature closer to the private sphere, and that at the same time creates privacy as well as exposing and emphasising any attractive views that make themselves available.
We have a wide range of possibilities for implementing our clients’ wishes and accommodating the innate spirit of the location.
One of our core areas of expertise.
A property on a slope has a special charm because it often grants an unhindered view into the surroundings. However, this not only makes things difficult for the architect but also for the garden designer. The ground must be intercepted in an ideal way. At the same time, usable areas and zones for movement should be created.
In this field we’ve developed special expertise in dealing with natural stone, coming from years of experience. Rock settlements, dry-stone walls and skilful terracing catch the slope, extend the area and reduce the amount of care needed. Garden dwellers can move across the stone structure, discover new seating places and views and use their garden in an ideal way.
Designing a corporate location is important for both customers and employees.
The outdoor area already transfers the company philosophy to the exterior and forms an initial impression for customers. A parking area for employees and customers by itself does not yet represent a convincing introduction to a company. A naturally and attractively designed outdoor area on the other hand testifies to the esteem in which customers, employees and nature are held.
According to a survey by the Fraunhofer Institute, a “green environment” also enormously contributes to improving effectiveness and creativity at work. The recreational and relaxation effect of a green area supports employees via intensive regeneration during breaks.
As a consequence, the outdoor areas of a company should not only provide a car park but also a “green retreat” for employees, clients and guests.
