Paul Heidt – sustainable garden design
Paul Heidt lives in Ettlingen on the Alb, being an enthusiastic nature lover, his passion for extraordinary gardens was sparked growing up by his parent’s gardening and landscaping business in Karlsruhe.
With a constant hunger to further his education, the master gardener worked in Switzerland for several years before joining Wirtz Gärten International in Belgium, later becoming part of the GartenLandschaft team. He is now a partner at the company.
GartenLandschaft Paul Heidt was founded in 2024.
Throughout his career, Paul Heidt’s garden designs have combined longstanding traditions with fresh, innovative ideas, resulting in high quality and bespoke gardens. In collaboration with the client, and with Peter Berg’s expertise in the background, a truly individual and nature-inspired work of art is created.

Construction – selecting high quality materials
In addition to the GartenLandschaft team’s abundance of expertise, another make-or-break factor in the success of a project is the choice of materials. And Paul Heidt knows high quality is the only option.
Natural stone is used to create the foundation. With that in place, special trees can be planted, with particular attention paid to the shape, age and, of course, their qualities – specifically that they are slow growing, value enhancing and stress resistant.
