Pete Berg Winner at the SGD Awards 2025

A number of innovative garden and landscape projects were honoured at the annual SGD Awards ceremony held on the 7th of February. Peter Berg Garden Design won the prestigious SGD Award 2025 in the “International Residential Landscapes & Gardens” category with the project “Set in Stone”.

National (UK) and international entrants were honoured in 21 different categories. The SGD is committed to excellence in garden design and celebrates this in a special setting in London. The evening is not only an awards ceremony, but also an opportunity to network and gain inspiration from the greats of garden design. In addition to the Grand Award for Sarah Eberle, Dan Pearson was honoured with the the “Lifetime Achievement Award”. His contribution to garden and landscape design is nothing short of extraordinary. Dan’s intuitive approach to the natural environment has not only transformed countless landscapes, but has redefined the way we think about the relationship between design and nature.

Our team, led by Peter Berg, impressed the judges with the ‘Set in Stone’ project, a garden on the Moselle River. The distinguished jury praised our “masterful use of materials” and the “skilful design” of the garden, which blends harmoniously into the surrounding Moselle cultural landscape.
