Interview with ARD Ratgeber Heim & Garten at the BUGA 2011

As one of Germany’s leading garden designers, Peter Berg presented an impressive show garden at the Bundesgartenschau (BUGA) 2011 in Koblenz. The minimalist garden, characterised by shades of blue, grey and green, captivates with its clear design and the use of regional materials.

The central element of the garden is basalt lava, which blends harmoniously into the surroundings, gives the garden the necessary structure and is the ideal companion for the lush planting. Woody plants take centre stage in spring, but perennials and grasses take over in summer.

Special thanks go to ARD and its ‘Ratgeber Heim und Garten’ programme for this interview with Peter Berg in his show garden at the BUGA. Thanks to this coverage, numerous garden lovers were able to learn more about Peter Berg’s inspiring work and be inspired by his garden design.
