Gardens of the Year 2026

We were surprised with an award At this year’s Gardens of the Year awards ceremony, we were surprised with a very special award winner. Last year’s Newcomer of the Year is now the 2026 award winner. We are proud and delighted to announce the 1st prize for Daniel Berg, son, brother and former colleague. He has been self-employed in Switzerland since 2022. The winning project, a dreamlike hillside garden with views of the mountains and Lake Lucerne, impresses with its aesthetic continuation of the landscape in the garden design.

We ourselves are featured in this year’s book ‘Gardens of the Year’ with two projects. Peter Berg, who has already published numerous gardens with Callwey Verlag, is represented this year with the project ‘Free aesthetics meets formal architecture’.

The first publication by our partner Paul Heidt is a source of particular joy for us. The private garden ‘Cultivated Natural Space with a View’ was designed and realised by him with an extraordinary sense of the connection between architecture and garden.
